(KNSI) – The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 13-year-old boy in connection to a threat he allegedly made against an Elk River School District building.
The Snapchat post is believed to have promised violence later this week. A social media update from the department did not identify which school was targeted and has not said where the boy is from.
Officials stress there is not an ongoing threat. Deputies worked with Elk River Police to investigate the incident.
