DQ Unveils Frozen Time Capsule as Fan-Favorite Blizzard Treats Make a Sweet Comeback

(KNSI) – A 40-year-old secret frozen in time by the American Dairy Queen Corporation has been blasted wide open with the company’s latest announcement.

Did you know there is something called the DQ Freezer? The freezer holds all of the iconic Blizzard treats ever created, and now treat lovers are getting a sneak peek behind its doors with the return of some fan favorites.

The Frosted Animal Cookie, Brownie Batter, and Cotton Candy Blizzard Treats make their triumphant return to DQ menu boards across the brand starting April 1st. Take DQ’s signature soft serve, pair it with the pink and white frosted animal cookies we remember from our youth, and whip it up into the thick, blizzardy perfection we have all come to know and love. For chocoholics, it’s brownie batter and rich chocolate brownie dough pieces blended to a cool, chunky meets smooth cap to a perfect summer day. You don’t have to wait for the fair to get a heaping helping of some sticky, sweet cotton candy. The treat features cotton candy colored sprinkles blended with the DQ soft serve.

DQ has 170 Blizzard recipes locked away in its secret treat vault. The brand says opening the frosty freezer doors for these three flavors paves the way for future re-releases.
