(KNSI) – It could be the final weekend of the 2023-24 season at Powder Ridge Ski Area in Kimball.

They’re pulling out all the stops, adding a patio party to the mix on Saturday. Staff have set up an outdoor bar with a DJ. Events include the ultimate giveaway and some free beer sampling. The top prize is a season pass for next year. As for the skiing, lift tickets are only $25, and you can rent equipment for $20.

Advance rates on a 2024-25 season pass are already available. Adults can lock in theirs for under $375. A family pass is available for $805. That’s slightly better than what you can get if you buy them in the summer from May 1st to August 31st. Next fall sees rates jump significantly, first to $463.25 for an adult and then $545 for an individual pass. The family rate rises to $998.75 and then $1,175 the later you buy.

Temperatures will soar again early next week, and Powder Ridge says it will be closed from the 11th to the 15th. After that, it is to be determined. No major spring snow storms are in the forecast at this point.
