(KNSI) — March is Minnesota FoodShare Month, and Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud is bringing back its Pack the Porches Food and Fund Drive next month.
On March 22nd, the 14th annual event will run from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Collections of nonperishable food items and cash will be taken at the Pioneer Place on 5th downtown St. Cloud and St. Cloud Financial Credit Union in Sartell. Financial donations will also be accepted at the Catholic Charities website. Coborn’s will match all food and fund donations up to $13,000. Thanks to local partnerships, every dollar raised can buy $5 worth of food.
The Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign runs from February 26th through April 6th. You can bring nonperishable items to the Catholic Charities Food Shelf and donate funds in person or online.
