(KNSI) – Everything to build, remodel or expand your living space is at the 2024 Central Minnesota Builders Association Home Show.
The sold-out event has 80 exhibitors blanketing the River’s Edge Convention Center next month. CMBA Executive Director Wanda Schroeder explained to KNSI News the cost of homes is making people look at changing what they have. “Housing is a different market right now. Things are expensive, but why not redo what you have? If you’re not in the market for a new home, now’s the time to upgrade some of the things that you have, and get some of those other projects taken care of.”
Without a traditional winter, Schroeder believes it’s prime time to plan. “People have continued to think about their projects that are indoor and outdoor, because we’ve been able to be outside.”
The home show is free to attend on March 9th and 10th. Attendees will be entered into a prize drawing when they bring a donation for the local food shelf. Student-built items will be displayed throughout the venue and up for silent auction to support the Tools for Schools Initiative.
