(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Rox lineup is looking like a juggernaut in 2024.

The team announced the signing of four new infielders on Thursday, three of whom play in the Big Ten or the Big 12. Jaixen Frost from the University of Iowa tore up the Hawkeye State in high school. His career batting average was a very Joe Mauer-like .615.

Will Henson of Ohio State University is making his Northwoods League debut after spending summer 2023 in Alaska. He has also done a tour in the Prospect League. He blasted eight home runs and racked up 35 RBI in 48 games for the Normal Corn Belters in 2022.

Braden Calise first committed to Louisville, now taking to the diamond at the University of Central Florida. Two years ago in the Florida League, he hit .360 with ten stolen bases. He has the makings of a solid number two hitter to set the table for the middle of the order.

The team also inked Tanner Recchio of Lakeville. The St. Thomas standout scored 32 runs in 38 games last summer as a Minnesota Mud Puppy. His skill set is perfect for the leadoff spot.
