(KNSI) – One of St. Cloud’s largest downtown employers is closing its doors and switching to remote work.
Capital One Financial Corporation announced closing the downtown offices on March 28th and the Capital One Café on the 29th. Around 400 workers never returned to the building after the COVID pandemic. The remaining 100 will now transition to remote work. The company released the information earlier this week.
Capital One opened its St. Cloud offices in 2012. At its height, it brought around 550 workers to downtown.
