(KNSI) – A man was seriously hurt after falling 15 feet off of scaffolding Thursday afternoon.

The call came in at 3:18 from a property on 378th Avenue in Lake George Township, north of Belgrade. First responders were able to identify the man as Jeffrey Zimmerman, a 22-year-old from Brooten.

A press release from the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says he was standing on a wood pallet suspended from the arm of a telehandler forklift. Zimmerman had injuries to his head and face. He had been trying to make repairs to the roofline of a shed.

Paramedics from Sauk Centre Ambulance and personnel from the Elrosa Fire Department made the call to bring in LifeLink to assist. Zimmerman was flown to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.
