Community Leaders Strut Their Stuff for a Good Cause During Dancing With Our Stars Live

(KNSI) – The lineup for who’s going to disco, samba, tango, and waltz to raise money for local nonprofits has been announced.

The 2024 Dancing With Our Stars Live features six community leaders paired with a professional partner for a chance to win up to $15,000 for a charity of their choice. Each nonprofit supports a wide variety of programs that benefit women in all stages of life. Dance couples will practice their routines beginning months before the competition.

The 8th annual dance-off features:

*Community Star Michelle Meier with Arbor Hair Studio will dance with pro Tuan (David) Le to benefit the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation for its Camp Oasis Summer Program for Girls.

*Community Star Cathy Elness with the St. Cloud Area YMCA will dance with pro Jeff Ringer to benefit the YMCA’s Safety Around Water program.

*Community Star Debra Leigh with the St. Cloud Technical and Community College will dance with pro Lee Morgan for Women’s Leadership Pathways at the SCTCC Multicultural Center.

*Community Star Steve Jones with the United Way of Central Minnesota will dance with pro Janell Missler to benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library for Girls program.

*Community Star Jim Maurice with WJON will dance with pro Lisa Lawson to benefit Quiet Oaks Hospice House for its supporting women program.

*Community Star Brady DeGagne with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central MN will dance with pro Rachel Trout to benefit the SMART Girls program.

This year’s Dancing With Our Stars will be at the College of Saint Benedict on June 10th, 2024. Final scoring will be based on the judges’ evaluation of each performance and the dollars raised.

The event is supported by the Women’s Fund of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation.
