(KNSI) — At least one person is dead after a crash between an SUV and a semi in Kandiyohi County Wednesday morning.
The Minnesota State Patrol says just after 11:00, an 80-year-old Cambridge man was driving a Ford Escape east on Highway 9 when it was hit by a semi being driven north on Highway 71. That driver, a 67-year-old man from Renville, was hurt in the crash, but authorities say the injuries are not life-threatening.
The road was wet at the time of the crash.
There was a 76-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Escape. Her condition is not known.
