(KNSI) – The Minnesota Department of Health reports 783 new COVID-19 cases and 10 deaths Wednesday. Seventy-three of those new cases were found in the St. Cloud area: seven in Benton County, seven in Morrison County, 16 in Sherburne County, 21 in Stearns County and 22 in Wright County.
The state processed 22,160 COVID-19 tests Tuesday for a one-day positivity rate of 3.5 percent.
So far, more than 695,000 Minnesotans have gotten at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. MDH data shows that almost 50,000 people in the St. Cloud area have gotten vaccinated. Here are the numbers of people vaccinated in each county and the percentage of that county’s population they represent:
- Benton: 3,948 recipients, or 9.8 percent
- Morrison: 4,001 recipients, or 12.1 percent
- Sherburne: 6,982 recipients, or 7.4 percent
- Stearns: 22,162 recipients, or 14 percent
- Wright: 12,693 recipients, or 9.4 percent
