(KNSI) — Rudolph will go down in history for saving Christmas Eve, and the St. Cloud temperature records may also be one for the books.

According to St. Cloud climate data at St. Cloud State University, the record high for December 24th is 43 degrees, set in 1994. Our forecasted high is 46. The historic normal high temp this time of year is around 23.

The record for Christmas Day doesn’t look like it’s in jeopardy for now. The forecasted high is 44, and the record is 47.

Instead of a white Christmas, it will be a wet Christmas. The forecast is calling for rain both Sunday night and Monday.
