(KNSI) – The Paramount Theatre is gearing up for a toe-tapping January in more ways than one.

Ballet outfit Company North Crest will write a Valentine’s card through dance with their annual production on Saturday, the 6th, at 4:00 p.m. The show is titled “With Love, North Crest.” A separate group crosses the St. Croix River later in the month. Water Street Dance Milwaukee will thrill people on January 20th at 7:30 p.m. with a contemporary routine focused on athleticism and creativity.

On Thursday, January 25th, a two-hour concert recreation of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper’s final tour will fill the theatre with hits from the 1950’s. The month rounds out with rock n’ roll comedian Jen Kober on the 27th. Kober has been featured on Disney+, HBO, and Netflix.

There are few shows in country music more revered than Johnny Cash’s performance at Folsom Prison. It will be recreated at the Paramount on Thursday, January 11th, and Friday, January 12th. The following night will feature The Hit Men of Country, a combination of singers playing hits like Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless The USA” and Jason Aldean’s “Big Green Tractor.” Between tunes, you’ll get stories from their days on the road.
