(KNSI) – The Southside Boys and Girls Club is turning St. Cloud in Silicon Valley thanks to a partnership with the Best Buy Foundation.

Over 1,300 square feet of technological marvels, all the latest gizmos and whizbangs, are being rolled out just before the holiday. This tech isn’t only fun and games.

Teens can try their hand at various specialties, from laser cutters and welders to graphic design. Over 15 computer stations are set up, offering the chance to learn more about embroidery, photography, robotics and coding, and virtual reality.

Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota President Mary Swingle says, “By partnering with the Best Buy Foundation for this incredible technology center, we are able to offer teens exciting new opportunities and experiences in technology that will help them build valuable skills and determine if a career in technology is in their future.”

The Best Buy Teen Tech Center is free to use.
