(KNSI) – Get into the Stearns History Museum for free with a donation to Toys for Tots on November 30th.
The event at the museum is sponsored by Genz Financial. “So you can come and drop off your toy, get some refreshments, and then, [Genz] will take care of making sure all those donations get to the proper place so that they can get out to the community,” said museum executive director Amy Degerstrom.
Gifts are aimed at kids from 0 to 12 years old.
The toy drive’s perks will apply between noon and 3:00 p.m. Degerstrom says it’s a chance to help out a good cause and check out the Wayfinding exhibit that opened last month. “Which is all about transportation and how transportation changed the fabric of our county. How did our paths and roads start? Who were the first people living in Stearns County? How did that shift in those transportation routes as new immigrants came to town?”
The museum is also holding a new members drive for businesses in November.
