(KNSI) — Saturday, November 11th, marks Veteran’s Day to thank people who stepped up to serve our country. Here’s a list of freebies, meals, and deals veterans can cash in on to eat, sip, munch, and shop their way through the day.
These are available at participating locations only. Some may require proof of veteran status for redemption. This is by no means a complete list.
Applebee’s is offering military veterans and current military personnel, National Guard and reserves a free meal from a select menu when they dine in on Veterans Day. Proof of service is required.
When they dine in, veterans and active duty military can chow down on a free 10 piece order of boneless wings and fries at Buffalo Wild Wings on Saturday.
Cabela’s Salute to Service offers a year round 5% discount on certain items for veterans, but on Veteran’s Day, it’s 10% and includes ammunition.
Crew Carwash is offering its top wash for free to all veterans and active duty service members in honor of Veterans Day. On Saturday, November 11th, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Crew will give away a free Ultimate Wash. No military ID is needed to get the deal.
Veterans can run on Dunkin’ Saturday. All retired and active duty military get a free doughnut of their choice.
Fox Nation has a free, one year subscription for veterans.
On Saturday, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has a meal card for a free Freddy’s Original Double with Cheese combo. Veterans can redeem that card through November 30th.
IHOP has free pancakes for veterans and active duty military. When dining in, they can get a free red, white, and blueberry pancake entrée or pancake combo on Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Lowe’s has cool collectible pins for the first 150 veterans at their store on Saturday. The store also offers a 10% military discount on eligible purchases daily.
Between Saturday, November 11th and Monday, November 13th, veterans, active duty and retired military, reservists, and their dependents can get 25% off qualifying regular priced and sale merchandise at Office Depot/Office Max. The company already offers a 20% in store discount on select purchases to veterans year round.
At Olive Garden, veterans a free entrée from a special menu. Entrées are served with unlimited soup or house salad and garlic bread sticks. Offer good for veterans and active-duty military; proof of service required.
Active military and veterans can get a free small drip coffee or tea from Peet’s Coffee on Veterans Day. Must show proof of valid ID showing active military or veteran status. Offer valid at participating Peet’s retail coffee bar locations.
On Veterans Day, to thank veterans, active-duty military and reservists, Red Lobster is offering guests a free Walt’s favorite shrimp, fries and coleslaw, featuring six hand-breaded, butterflied and lightly fried shrimp, served with cocktail sauce, as well as crispy French fries and coleslaw.
Veterans and active duty military members who dine in at participating Red Robin locations on Saturday can snag a free Red’s Big Tavern Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries. The restaurant also offers a military rewards program for specials all year long.
At Scooter’s Coffee, veterans receive a free drink on Veterans Day.
On November 11th, Starbucks is treating veterans, active-duty service members and spouses to a free, 12 ounce hot or iced coffee at participating U.S. Starbucks stores. In addition, Starbucks is donating $100,000 each to Team Red, White & Blue and Travis Manion Foundation to support the military and veteran community.
Taco John’s has one free small beef #1 combo meal. No purchase is necessary, and no substitutions are permitted.
Texas Roadhouse will distribute meal vouchers from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Vouchers can be redeemed for a dine-in or carry-out meal from a select menu. Contact your local Texas Roadhouse for details.
Up in Smoke BBQ in St. Cloud will be running a ‘Buy One Get One Half-Off’ Veterans Day special at its 2nd Street South location on Saturday.
Wendy’s is offering a free breakfast combo for active military and veterans at participating locations. Offer valid in-restaurant or at the drive-thru. Not valid for mobile orders or at kiosks. Proof of service is required.
