(KNSI) – Submissions are open for the 2023 Stearns County Sheriff’s Office Holiday Greeting Card Design Contest.

The contest is open to students 12 and under and should feature winter-themed pictures using the sheriff’s office in some way. The design should portray positive police and community relations. The artwork must be original with a minimum size of 5″x 7″ up to a maximum of 8.5″x 11″. Both vertical and horizontal formats will be accepted.

According to county officials, it is a fun way for children to show off their artistic talents, and they could win one of three awards. One grand prize winner will win an Amazon gift card, recognition from the sheriff’s office and a certificate of excellence. Two runner-up contestants will win a sheriff’s office patch and recognition. The winning design will be used for the front of the department’s greeting card that will be mailed to other agencies, sponsors, and various officials. A panel of Stearns County Sheriff’s Office employees will select the top three entries.

Design submissions can be mailed or brought in person to:

Stearns County Sheriff’s Office
Attn: Holiday Card Design Contest
807 Courthouse Square
P.O. Box 217
St. Cloud, MN 56302

The deadline to submit artwork in person, by mail, or via email to sheriffholidaycards@stearnscountymn.gov is November 23rd. The winners will be announced the first week in December.

Questions can be emailed to sheriffholidaycards@stearnscountymn.gov
