(KNSI) – Minnesota has been ranked as the eighth safest state in a recent poll.
In order to determine the most secure states, WalletHub compared all 50 across 52 key metrics broken down into five categories. Minnesota was rated third in financial safety, fourth in road safety, ninth in workplace safety, 18th in personal safety and 23rd in emergency preparedness.
The safest state was Vermont, followed by Maine, New Hampshire, Utah and Massachusetts. The least safe states were Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas and Florida.
