ISD 47 School Board Member Retiring, Applications Accepted to Fill Seat

(KNSI) – A longtime Sauk Rapids-Rice School board member is retiring, opening up a spot on the board.

Jan Solarz has served the district for 27 years. Her last meeting is October 10th.

ISD 47 is taking applications to fill the vacancy. Anyone interested must have their paperwork in by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023. Applications can be dropped off or mailed to the district office or emailed to christie.young@isd47.org.

An interview date has yet to be set. Those selected to be interviewed will be contacted. The interview process will be open to the public.
