(KNSI) – Charges have been filed against the man accused of shooting up a medical clinic in Buffalo Tuesday morning.

Prosecutors in Wright County charged 67-year-old Gregory Ulrich with one count of second-degree intentional murder, four counts of attempted first degree intentional murder, possession of an explosive or incendiary device, and carrying a pistol without a permit.

Wright County Attorney Brian Lutes filed the charges Thursday morning.

Ulrich is accused of walking into the Allina Health Crossroads Clinic in Buffalo and opening fire, killing 37-year-old Lindsay Overbay and wounding four other people.

Overbay, who had been married for ten years, lived in Maple Lake with her husband and two children. She reportedly went to school at St. Cloud State University, where she earned her degree in journalism. A GoFundMe set up to help out her family says she had returned to school, but it did not specify what she was studying. Overbay was a medical assistant who had worked at the clinic for a little over two years.

Buffalo Police Chief Pat Budke and Wright County Sheriff Sean Deringer both say they had numerous contacts with Ulrich dating back to 2003. They say the attack was targeted at this clinic because Ulrich was reportedly unhappy with the medical care he was receiving there.
