(KNSI) – Apollo High School will celebrate its renovated football stadium at homecoming.
The Apollo Eagles host Foley on September 22nd and will dedicate the remodeled Apollo stadium during a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The grass was replaced by turf, crews resurfaced the track, a new video scoreboard was added, and lighting was placed around the path.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m., and kick-off is at 7:00 p.m. District 742 invites the public to attend and celebrate the upgraded sports venue.
The project cost around $2 million.
