(KNSI) – A St. Joseph boy scout is collecting toys for children being treated for cancer.
Ethan Duncan has organized an Eagle Scout project called Pack the Tent for Pediatrics. People are asked to donate new, unopened toys or games to give to the Pediatric Cancer Center at CentraCare-St. Cloud Hospital. Toys are needed for infants, preschoolers, school-age children and teens.
Needed items include rattles, playbooks, musical/light-up toys, Barbies, action figures, Fisher Price little people toys, Play-Doh sets, baby dolls, Legos, and craft kits. The toys will be given to kids undergoing treatment at the center.
Donations can be brought to St. Joseph Church in St. Joseph or Family First Chiropractic in Waite Park from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Duncan says his goal is to help brighten a kid’s day in the hospital, and all donations are much appreciated. He’s a member of Troop 84 in St. Joseph.
