(KNSI) – Passengers flying out of St. Cloud Regional Airport have a new destination to choose from.
According to a press release from Allegiant Airlines, they will begin service from St. Cloud Regional Airport to Destin, Florida.
Destin, Florida, is located on the Gulf of Mexico in the panhandle area.
Drew Wells, Allegiant’s Senior Vice President of Revenue, says Destin is “incredibly sought after” for its numerous outdoor recreational activities and says the airline is “excited to offer our brand of convenient, affordable nonstop service for St. Cloud residents to access this unique Florida getaway.”
St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis says he, too, is excited about the partnership.
Service begins June 6th, 2021.
Allegiant already offers flights to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Punta Gorda Airport in Florida.
