(KNSI) – Minnesota confirms 564 new COVID-19 cases and three deaths today. This includes 37 new cases around St. Cloud and one death: a person in their 60s from Wright County.
Morrison County does not have any newly confirmed COVID-19 cases today. There are eight new cases in Benton County, three in Sherburne County, 18 in Stearns County and eight in Wright.
The state processed 18,567 COVID-19 tests yesterday, keeping the one-day test positivity rate low at 3 percent.
The state has also now passed the half-a-million mark for people vaccinated for COVID-19. As of Saturday, more than 556,000 Minnesotans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. 28.5 percent of those people have also gotten their second dose.
In the five-county area, 43,822 people have started receiving their COVID-19 vaccines.
The Minnesota Department of Health estimates that 27 percent of Minnesotans age 65 and older have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
