(KNSI) – A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for central Minnesota.
The watch is in effect until 2:00 a.m. on Friday for Stearns, Kandiyohi, Meeker County. Thunderstorms are expected to move into western Minnesota and continue eastward overnight, and weaken as they approach Wisconsin.
A few severe storms are possible. The main threat is damaging wind.
