(KNSI) – Wright County is reopening the popular Schroeder Park Beach after a weeklong closure.
It was shut down on August 3rd following heavy rains in the area. Runoff into Cedar Lake led to high bacteria levels. Testing restarted on Monday and results have come down to an acceptable level. The campground is located near Annandale.
The decision was made by the county’s Parks and Recreation Department.
