(KNSI) – An extended application period is now open for Sherburne County’s 2021 COVID-19 Business Relief Fund.
The grants are open to businesses in two tiers: those that had to close due to Executive Order 20-99 and those that didn’t.
Sherburne County says it will prioritize getting money to businesses that were ordered to close in the fall, like restaurants, bars and gyms. In the second priority tier, businesses that were not ordered to close will be eligible for grants after the first group, and that grant amount will be larger because businesses directly impacted by that Executive Order will also be getting relief payments from the state, Sherburne County says.
The county says if funds are left over after processing all the applications, it might issue more grants. The funds should be doled out before March 15th. Applications are open until February 12th.
