Portion of Cooper Avenue South, West St. Germain Street to Close July 5th

(KNSI) — Sections of West St. Germain Street and Cooper Avenue South will be closed to traffic starting Wednesday.

West St. Germain Street from 10th Avenue North to 12th Avenue North and 11th Avenue North from West St. Germain Street to 1st Street North will be closed through late September, weather permitting. Tenth Avenue North from 1st Street South to 1st Street North will be closed, and that also includes the intersection of West St. Germain and 10th Avenue North. There will be limited vehicle access to West St. Germain between 9th and 10th Avenue North, but sidewalks will remain open. Access will be maintained to those who live, work, visit or shop within the project area but expect changes and use of alternate entrances.

Those closures are expected to last through late July.

Cooper Avenue South from Traverse Road to 22nd Street South will shut down due to planned construction. Weather permitting, the closure will only last two days. No detours will be posted. Drivers are asked to find an alternate route.

Cooper Avenue South will remain closed until October 2023 between Roosevelt Road/County Road 75 to Traverse Road.
