(KNSI) — St. Cloud area Senator Aric Putnam is hosting a listening session this week to learn about residents’ struggles with mental health.
The session is Thursday, June 22nd, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Mississippi Room at the Great River Regional Library in St. Cloud. The session allows people to share their experiences and challenges with the system.
According to Stearns County officials, people age 35-44 in central Minnesota report delaying mental health care the most (28%), almost double any other age group. They say the sooner people get treatment, the greater their chances of recovery.
