(KNSI) – Streets in downtown St. Cloud will close next week for a pair of Granite City Days events.
Crews will close the parade route from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24th. Floats will start by CentraCare-St. Cloud Hospital and make their way down 6th Avenue North to St. Germain Street and continue west to 14th Avenue North near the library.
Other roads that will be closed for staging include 7th and 8th Avenue North from 7th Street North to 12th Street North. The city will keep 13th and 14th Avenue North from St. Geramin Street to 1st and 2nd Street North for parade participants to finish.
On Sunday, June 25th, the Granite City Days 5k Run/Family Fun Fest at Lake George will require the roads around Eastman Park to close. They include 12th Avenue South from 2nd Street South to 7th Street South and 7th Street South from 12th Avenue South to 10th Avenue South.
Granite City Days takes place over four days from June 22nd through the 25th.
