(KNSI) — A central Minnesota park is adding a fun way to help kids avoid the dreaded summer slide when school is out.
A ribbon cutting ceremony for the Born Learning Trail will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on June 27th at Lions Park in Waite Park. The activities on the route will be engaging for both parents and kids. The goal is to help families support early education through everyday outdoor play.
The trail was made possible thanks to a donation from Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union, the United Way of Central Minnesota and Waite Park.
