(KNSI) – The City of St. Cloud has extended early registration for the Granite City Days Parade.
Originally scheduled to end on Monday, applications will now be accepted until Wednesday at 11:30 p.m. The lineup for the event occurs at Hester Park and the route runs along 6th Avenue North before turning on W. St. Germain Street on Saturday, June 24th. The cost is $125 for a nonprofit organization and $150 for a business. Public safety and emergency vehicles, marching bands, and sponsored floats are free.
It’s not the only activity that requires early registration. Signup goes until the 21st for the festival’s softball tournament. Men’s games are scheduled for Saturday, June 24th, in upper and lower divisions. Co-ed teams play on Sunday, the 25th. All leagues are for ages 16 and up. The fee is $200 per team.
