(KNSI) – Waite Park’s Family Fun Fest is gearing up for the Grand Day Parade this evening.
The Honey Badgers will be performing starting at 5:30 in the community park. You can set up seats to listen to music and then the parade will step off at 6:30. They’ll travel from the library at 5th Avenue and 3rd St. North down to 1st Street, then across to 13th Avenue North before ending at the Waite Park Community Park.
Pop and popcorn will be sold by the local Boy Scouts troop. The Girl Scouts will be collecting items for area food shelves. When the parade is over, the Honey Badgers will start up again until 10:30 p.m.
Other fun to be had today includes train tours up to 5:00 p.m. at the STARail museum on 3rd Street North. Friday will have a car show and music from the Riverside Rockets, who specialize in 50’s rock n’ roll. All activities for Friday are at the community park.
