(KNSI) – Two teenagers are OK after a driver who had allegedly been drinking pulled out in front of them.
The Minnesota State Patrol says about 7:00 p.m. Saturday, a 2009 Chevy Cobalt, driven by a 17-year-old from St. Stephen, was driving west on Highway 10 in Watab Township, when a 2003 Buick LeSabre, driven by a 34-year-old man from Rice, pulled out in front of the Cobalt. Police say the man had been drinking before the crash.
The teen driver and her passenger, a 16-year-old from Royalton, were both taken to St. Cloud Hospital for nonlife-threatening injuries.
The LeSabre’s driver and his passenger, a 30-year-old from Rice, were not hurt.
