(KNSI) — Thursday starts a huge summer of shows and events at The Ledge Amphitheater in Waite Park.
Dwight Yoakam, with special guest Aaron Lewis, takes the stage at 7:00 p.m. Parking opens at 5:00 p.m. with doors at 6:00 p.m. If you want to hit up dinner while you’re there, there are food trucks from Mr. Twisty’s, ODB’s Meat and Greet Foodtruck, Waldo’s Pizza, Buddy’s Burritos, and Dana’s Kitchen.
Friday, May 26th, is Gary Allan and Tracy Lawrence at The Ledge. Parking opens at 5:00 p.m., and doors open at 6:00 p.m. Showtime is set for 7:00 p.m. Food trucks from Mr. Twisty’s, ODB’s Meat and Greet Foodtruck, Waldo’s Pizza, Cloud 9 Energy Bowls, and Dana’s Kitchen will be on site.
Throughout June, on Thursdays, it’s Yoga at The Ledge. From 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. There are stand-alone classes each week, or yogis can book the entire series. Each week will feature a new set of teachers and styles of yoga. From vinyasa flow to gentle yoga with a sound bath experience, you can expect to unwind each week and find peace in the beauty of an outdoor venue.
It’s a throwback to the 90s with Barenaked Ladies with Semisonic and Del Amirti on June 9th. Showtime is at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:00, with parking open at 5:00.
Indie band The Head and the Heart with The Revivalists play July 1st. Showtime is at 6:30 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30. Favorites on the scene at Coachella, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits, The Head and the Heart are known for their nonstop touring. The Revivalists are known for putting on great live shows and alt-rock anthems.
The GREAT Theater presents Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville on July 18th, 19th, and 20th. Show time is from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and tells the story of a hotel singer and part-time bartender who fall for two career-minded tourists. It’s fun and funny, and features sing-along hits sure to please the Parrotheads and non-Parrotheads alike.
Hard rock band Incubus is bringing their U.S. tour to town on July 26th with Badflower and Paris Jackson. Showtime is 7:15 p.m., with doors opening at 6:00 p.m.
Grand Funk Railroad and Jefferson Starship hit the stage with their hit-packed songbooks on August 12th. Showtime is at 7:00 p.m., and doors open at 6:00 p.m.
The 90s return on August 16th with the Blue Monsters Tour: Blues Traveler with Big Head Todd and the Monsters. With countless sold out shows all over the globe, bring your best flannel and shine up your Doc Martens. The show starts at 7:00, and doors open at 6:00 p.m.
The Doobie Brothers have been together for 50 years and are on the road to celebrate with their legions of fans. They’re making a stop on August 18th at 8:00 p.m. The doors open at 7:00.
Pop and classical music combine for a memorable show with America’s Got Talent finalist Lindsey Stirling on August 22nd. Stirling covers everything from hip-hop to pop and rock using her signature violin. Stirling will be joined by the Canadian band Walk Off The Earth. The group is known for covering hits from artists like Adele, LMAO, Lorde, Maroon 5, and others. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Showtime is 7:00 p.m.
Heavy metal group Gojira with special guest Mastodon take over the stage on August 27th. Doors to see the GRAMMY award winning groups open at 6:00 p.m. with the showtime at 7:00.
Billy Currington comes to town on September 22nd with special guest Eli Young Band and Hannah Ellis. The show starts at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:00.
