(KNSI) — The next phase of construction on the Highway 10/Highway 23 project starts on Monday.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will close and reconstruct the south intersection access to and from Lincoln Avenue Southeast at Highway 23.

Lincoln Avenue Southeast will close south of Highway 23, and the eastbound Highway 23 ramp to eastbound Highway 10 at the interchange will reopen. Drivers are asked to use 15th Avenue Southeast to access Lincoln. Highway 23 will remain open to traffic, and Lincoln Avenue will be open north of the intersection. The closure will be set in place through mid-June.

The schedule is weather permitting.

MnDOT will adjust and monitor the temporary signal at the intersection.
