(KNSI) — CentraCare is commemorating one year of helping breastfeeding mothers by throwing a free party on May 16th.

It’s the first year anniversary of the Baby Cafe. The party is from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the St. Cloud Area Family YMCA. Activities will include crafts, chair massages, and talking with lactation consultants. Cupcakes and punch will be served.

The Baby Cafe is a free, weekly support group that covers everything mothers need from before the baby arrives to weaning to the mom’s return to work. The group meets at the St. Cloud Y on Tuesdays between 9:30-11:30 a.m. for conversation and a chance to meet other moms.

Children are welcome to attend, but the St. Cloud Area Family Y offers childcare for $5 per half hour to members and non-members. An online reservation is needed 24 hours in advance.

CentraCare, Central Minnesota Breastfeeding Coalition and Public Health sponsor the Baby Cafe.
