(7-1) Sartell 8, Sauk Rapids 4: Sartell third baseman Kade Lewis was perfect at the plate. He scored three runs and batted in two others to lead the charge for the Sabres. That includes a two-run homerun in the 4th inning and a double to lead off the game. Sartell committed four errors, allowing the Storm to hang around. Sauk Rapids infielders Anthony Bemboom and Cullen Posch each had two hits. Sartell remains perfect in the Central Lakes Conference.
(6-1) ROCORI 7, Willmar 5: The Spartans only loss this remains the opener at the Crush. They’ve rattled off six straight since, including a slugfest with the Cardinals Thursday at Springer Park. Brady Schafer was 3-3 with a home run and four RBI. Thad Leiser scored twice for ROCORI.
