(KNSI) – Sartell hopes it has hit a hole-in-one after finding a buyer for the Pine Ridge Golf Course.
The city has an offer to sell the nine-hole 81-acre course to Three Tees LLC for $426,000.
The deal calls for the Three Tees to keep the course operating for at least 30 years. Three Tees will also add amenities and improvements to the clubhouse, parking lot, and irrigation system. The course must also be maintained following the United States Golf Association standards.
Sartell bought the 18-hole course in 2008, then split off and developed half of it into Central Park Boulevard and Pinecone Central Park. The rest of the course has been leased to Boulder Ridge, whose been running it for the last 15 years. The golf course will remain operated by Boulder Ridge until November 15th.
The two companies will work out a lease agreement in the future. Sartell will not be involved in those contract negotiations.
The deal has the planning commission’s recommendation and will be in front of the city council for a vote on Monday evening.
