Burn Permits Now Available at St. Cloud Fire Station 1

(KNSI) — Recreational burning permits are now available at St. Cloud Fire Station 1.

Permits are required for all recreational fires and allow for clean, dry firewood burning in an approved ring or pit. The ring or put must be at least eight inches in height or depth with a maximum diameter of 36 inches and located at least 25 feet from buildings. The fire must be at least 15 feet from a building if it is in an approved manufactured fireplace. Residents with gas fire pits must also obtain a permit.

St. Cloud Fire Station 1 is at 101 10th Avenue North.

Permits are valid until December 31st, 2023.
