(KNSI) — Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud is taking over an organization that helps people struggling with mental health and rebranding with a new name.
Catholic Charities Behavioral Health Clinic will become Granite City Counseling – A Program of Catholic Charities. The change comes after the organization acquired Granite City Counseling. Services will continue to be provided at the behavioral health clinic, 911 18th Street North in St. Cloud.
According to Catholic Charities, the addition will allow the organization to serve the mental health needs of the community better. In a statement, Catholic Charities says a name change will more clearly describe the services provided.
Granite City Counseling has been in operation for about 14 years.
