(KNSI) – Junkin’ Market Days is returning to central Minnesota in a new place.

The traveling indoor emporium was at the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud in 2022 but has elected to hold the event this year at the Sartell Community Center. Event organizer JaNan Erickson explained they moved the venue after listening to customers. She says, “We decided that we think it provides better accessibility. There are no fees for parking. And we like the small town feel of the community center.”

The marketplace features over 60 local vendors selling clothing, jewelry, home decor, furniture, candles, gourmet foods and more. Erickson says the event’s goal is to connect small business owners with the public and give people some variety they don’t normally get when they’re out and about running errands. “If you are serious about having some fun and getting out and shopping, Sartell is where you’re going to want to be on Saturday. Whether you are just looking to kill a couple of hours or you want to do all day.”

The doors open on Saturday, May 6th, at 9:00 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m. There is a $5 charge at the door.

The event is planning to return to the area in October.
