(KNSI) – A suspect in a domestic assault and burglary in St. Cloud was arrested after a search found him hiding in an alley.
Police were called around 8:30 on Wednesday morning to the 800 block of 15 ½ Avenue North for a crime in progress. According to officers, the suspect, 36-year-old Ramon Marshall, was seen running along 9th Street North as they arrived. Officers set up a perimeter and used a drone to find Marshall hiding in an alley in the 300 block between 8th and 9th Avenue North.
Marshall was taken to jail on numerous domestic-related charges, including assault and burglary. Marshall also had a warrant for felony probation for robbery from the US Marshals Service.
While officers set up a perimeter and tried to find Marshall, nearby Cathedral High School went into lockdown for about ten minutes.
Police say it was the third time in as many days that they were called to the address for a disturbance or break-in involving Marshall and the victim. In both previous incidents, Marshall fled before police arrived.
