(KNSI) — No one was hurt, but there was a brief shelter in place order at Cathedral Wednesday morning.

According to an email sent to parents, at approximately 9:05, the order went into effect after school administration received a phone call from the St. Cloud Police Department due to a domestic incident that took place outside the school buildings but in the Cathedral neighborhood. “The Emergency Response Team immediately responded to make sure all of the buildings were secure. Students continued with lessons in their classrooms, but did not move freely around the building. Announcements were also made to assure students that the school building was secure and that the incident was occurring outside of our school.”

Roughly ten minutes later, the school received another phone call saying the incident had been resolved and it was safe to resume normal activities, and the shelter in place could be lifted.
