(KNSI) — A trio of Becker High School students is being honored for making a video to bring awareness to the dangers of distracted driving.

The winning team was Noah Bloch, Samuel Warren, and Joseph Kampa. The team’s video shows a friend picking up another friend and refusing to wear a seatbelt. While out on the road, there is some roughhousing in the car, and something goes wrong.

April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month, and the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office holds the Safe Roads Video contest to teach young drivers to put their cell phones down and pay attention behind the wheel.
