(KNSI) – A Sauk Rapids man will call it quits after working for 47 years with a local hardware store.

Paul Wesenberg will retire on April 7th from Handyman’s Hardware in east St. Cloud. Wesenberg started at Handyman’s as a junior in high school in the DECA Program. He started as a store associate and worked his way up to being a pivotal part of the commercial hardware sales department. According to management, he was a fixture at the store and a customer favorite. Wesenberg will be greatly missed at Handyman’s

Outside of Handyman’s Wesenberg serves on the board for Minden Township and is a member of the Tinsville Lions Club and Sacred Heart Church. Paul has three daughters and 13 grandchildren.
