(KNSI) – A man suffered serious injuries after crashing with a semi-truck in Stearns County.
On Wednesday, first responders were called to Interstate 94 in St. Wendel Township around 12:16 a.m. The Minnesota State Patrol says 21-year-old Mattinen George Edward Goergen was headed west on the interstate when he lost control on the wet road and collided with the semi.
The Eden Prairie man was rushed to CentraCare-St. Cloud Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The 59-year-old semi driver from Detroit Lakes wasn’t hurt.
