Girls’ Basketball

Class AA Semifinals

The Albany Huskies are playing for a state championship! #3 Albany slipped past #2 Goodhue 48-45 on Friday night at Williams Arena, 48-45. The purple and white were led by Tatum Findley and Kylan Gerads, who netted 13 and 12 points, respectively. Neither of those players is a senior so expect another deep playoff run in 2024.

The game was always close. Albany’s largest lead was a mere four points and they only had the advantage for a total of 6:15 throughout the contest. Goodhuee’s Kendyl Lodermeir led her side with 19 points.

Albany tangles with #1 Providence Academy at 2:00 p.m.

Boys’ Basketball
