(KNSI) — The National Weather Service has issued another winter weather advisory as areas of central Minnesota are in line for accumulating snow overnight.
The winter weather advisory is in place from 9:00 p.m. Tuesday through 3:00 p.m. Wednesday as a small but potent little system will bring snow to the area. Light snow will develop over southwestern Minnesota and spread east across central Minnesota, the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin Tuesday evening and into Wednesday afternoon. Most locations within the advisory area will see between three and six inches of snow, with locally higher amounts possible.
Forecasters say drivers should plan on extra travel time, especially for the Wednesday morning commute.
