(KNSI) — Two people fatally shot this week in Minneapolis were shot in the same location.

Police were called to shots fired in the 2800 block of Colfax Avenue South at about 11:35. They found a car with a man and a woman inside. Both of them had been shot. Twenty-three-year-old Khalil Amer Bryant was pronounced dead at the scene. The unidentified woman was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment. A gun was reportedly recovered at that scene.

Around five minutes later, police responded to a call of a “male down in the hallway of an apartment building” about a block away from the first shooting. Twenty-nine-year-old Davante Lavar-King Reid was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are working to determine if the two shootings are related and, if so, how. They know both of them were shot outside of the address on Colfax.

No arrests have been made.
